As you already know, the South Coast Reflector is a collaborative effort by many individuals. Without the generous help of so many, the SCR wouldn’t be what it is today. Ramey Smith (KF5GXZ)

Ramey is one of the control operators for the reflector. His great knowledge about Allstar nodes and lots of computer experience and is a huge help to the reflector.

Travis Jones (KG5TND)

Travis helps with the air conditioner units on all the repeater sites and donated repeaters on the system. In Texas, it gets HOT! Travis has his own A/C company here in Conroe, TX and if you need help he sure will help you out.

Scott Smith (N7SAS)

Scott has donated Motorola MTR 3000 repeaters for the system and duplexers. The DMR repeaters that are on the system were donated by Scott and he brings a lot to the South Coast Reflector with his knowledge as a radio technician. He was a service tech for Motorola at one time and he is still in the communication business.

Paul Dermody (W5PTD)

Paul has been a big help in setting up the YSF Fusion Bridge and also helping me get the DMR Bridge straightened out. Paul also works on the hubs and repeaters nodes, he is well versed in Linux operating system.

Brandon (N3MIL)

Brandon helps with the web sites and has a Company call Boyd Tech Solutions. He’s a big help to the south Coast Reflector. Brandon possesses the qualities that any organization wants in its employees – leadership, capability, and work ethic.  Brandon also has the
technical ability to handle everything from everyday computer issues all the way to designing complex, corporate-level IT systems.

Private Amateur Radio System

The Texas Link System is a private amateur radio system consisting of a large number repeaters linked together on a Allstar HUB’s called the south coast reflector 48752,48347,48678 and 18 repeaters located in and around the Houston Texas.
