Simply put, the Texas State Militia is a network of lawfully organized reserve militias in the state of Texas. Our members are normal Americans who have sworn an oath to defend the Constitution, and the life, liberty, and property of all Texans.

ClearNode is a pre-configured Raspberry Pi based AllStar, EchoLink & Digital Modes simplex node with an integrated low power UHF (or VHF) FM radio transceiver. Digital modes now include DMR, P25, YSF, FCS and NXDN.

East Coast Reflector Tech / Swap Net
Tech Net has been meeting every Tuesday evening between 7:00 and 9:00 PM central Time. Your net control stations are Dick WB2JPQ. The Tech Net is open to all amateurs worldwide and we encourage your participation. You can access the net through any of the repeaters are on the South Coast Reflector or simplex node by connecting to Hub’s 48752,48347 & 48678.
If you are a DMR BrandMeister user, you may access the system through our DMR Talk Group 312681. Users must have a DMR ID to access the digital side of the system. On all digital modes there is an additional delay, please key up 3 seconds before talking and leave long brakes between transmission.

ARES Net
Our commitment is to the people of Montgomery County. We provide communications support during emergency incidents and non-emergency events “when all else fails”.
Should there be any type of event or incident, ARES of Montgomery County Texas has expert HAM Radio operators using VHF, UHF and HF bands to ensure communications when conventional communication systems do not function, e.g., internet, cellular. We work closely with local disaster relief partners including FEMA, Red Cross, Food Banks, and emergency services.

Amateur Radio Newsline™ is a free service to the amateur radio community. We produce a weekly audio news bulletin called a “QST” or “bulletin of interest to radio amateurs” that is delivered by a downloadable MP3 audio file from our website or through a podcast subscription. Operations are supported primarily by voluntary donations from individual amateurs and amateur radio clubs.

The Lake Conroe Amateir Radio Club is intended to help facilitate communication-related activities and promote amateur radio. We engage in activities throughout the year such as; contesting, VHF/UHF and HF Operations, antenna building, DIY projects, special event operations, and miscellaneous public service activities.
